Welcome to our Cosmetic Dermatology Practice! The main office for Dr. Christine Brozowski’s medical practice is located in Berkeley, California and she spends majority of her practice time here. Dr. Brozowski obtained her California Physician's & Surgeon's Medical License in 1997 and moved to Berkeley in 1998.  Our office is open Monday-Friday. Detailed directions to our office follow.

While Dr. Brozowski also works part-time out of a satellite office in Ketchum, Idaho, her staff (including Office Manager extraordinaire, Mary), remain in California.  Mary will serve as your main contact to assist you with scheduling, information on treatments and services, and pricing.  Our staff have extensive knowledge of all of our procedures as well as Skin Care.  You are welcome to stop by any time for assistance with Skin Care products.

Directions

Our new medical office for Dr. Christine Brozowski is located at 912 The Alameda in North Berkeley on the corner of Solano Avenue. There is dedicated patient parking at the rear of the building.  There is also a handicap parking spot directly in front of the building and we have an accessible ramp. AC Transit Buses from Berkeley and Oakland, as well as El Cerrito, stop directly in front of our office. See below for bus specifics.

We encourage patients coming to the office to consider the use of an alternative to the automobile. Tips for public transportation and biking to the office are given below, following the driving directions.

We recommend that all new patients arrive at least 15 minutes before their scheduled appointment to fill out paperwork. We have a comfortable waiting room with a variety of reading material to occupy you until your appointment. Many patients prefer to arrive early if they have a laser treatment that requires numbing medication. Feel free to arrive early!

From San Francisco:

Take I-80 East and take exit 13 - Marin Avenue/Buchanan Street in Berkeley. Drive East for approximately 2.5 miles and turn left onto The Alameda (before the Fire Station). We are one block up on the left. There is parking in the rear of our building, please use driveway to the left of our building. Handicap parking is directly in front.

From El Cerrito, San Rafael and the North:

Take I-580 west from Marin or I-80 West from Napa to Albany and exit at Buchanan Street. Note: from the I-580 this is a Left Exit! It’s a right exit from the I-80. Go East for approximately 2.5 miles. Buchanan Street turns into Marin Avenue. Turn left onto The Alameda (just before the Fire Station). Our building is one block up on the left and parking is behind the building. Handicap parking is directly in front.

From Piedmont, Oakland and the South:

Either follow directions from San Francisco (above) via Highway 80 or take Hwy. 24 to the 51st Street exit. Turn right onto MLK in Oakland then continue straight on Martin Luther King Blvd in Berkeley. Stay on this road for 5 miles until it changes name to The Alameda, at the intersection of Marin Ave. Continue 1 block further and our building # 912 will be on your left.

From Walnut Creek, Orinda and the East:

Take Highway 24 to the Martin Luther King Blvd. exit. Turn right onto MLK in Oakland. Continue straight on Martin Luther King Blvd in Berkeley. Stay on this road for 5 miles until it changes name to The Alameda, at the intersection of Marin Ave. Continue 1 block further and our building # 912 will be on your left. Parking lot is in the back via driveway on the left of our building. Handicap parking is directly in front.

Biking

The office is just a few blocks north Milvia 'Bicycle Boulevard' in Berkeley, which provides easy access from Elmwood, Rockridge, Oakland, and Piedmont, as well as from the UC Berkeley campus. Safe routes are also available from many other parts of the Oakland-Berkeley-Albany area.

Once you've arrived, you can leave your bike in our parking lot behind the Office Building. Driveway is on the left. See sign for bicycle parking.

Remember that bicycles can be taken on BART trains (although access is restricted at certain times) and all bus routes serving the vicinity of the office. For details see the websites listed below.

BART & AC transit

The office is well served by public transportation, including an AC Transit bus stop directly in front of our building.

AC transit buses connect directly to the Rockridge, Oakland BART station and the El Cerrito Del Norte BART and drop off right in front of our building. See directions below. The office is also a 25-30 minute walk from the North Berkeley BART station.

Both bus lines 7 and 79 drop off directly in front of our office. Bus 7 connects to the El Cerrito Del Norte BART. Bus 79 connects to the Rockridge BART after stopping in Central Berkeley and Claremont Ave. All buses on these routes are equipped with bicycle racks, so a bike/bus combination is possible.
